That was really bothering me for a while as well. I was able to turn it off by editing some of the code. However, I'm not a programmer, didn't know what I was doing, and don't remember what I did. If I can figure it out, I'll post back here. Otherwise, perhaps I could just send you my crudely-"customized" version of the plug-in. (I don't want to post it here without permission first).
