The G5 is sold and I'm working on a new Mac Pro which is really lovely. However, as with the G5, I'm getting errors and still having to work off an old G4 machine to use Scriptographer. Any fixes available?
As far as I know, Scriptographer isn't compatible with Mac Pro - because of the pentium processor..
"Macintosh users please note that at the moment, Scriptographer only runs on native PowerPC Machines, not the new Intel ones, as Rosetta cannot run Java inside emulated applications."
So basically it's because Adobe Illustrator isn't running native yet..
Hey Craig,
1. create a very lo-res copy of the image your want to use: each pixel will be used for an object so 64 x 64 pixels is still fairly complex.
2. make sure the image is embedded in Illustrator and not linked.
3. create the vector object you wish to use to build the vector art.
4. make sure the vector object is in front and select both the object and the image (it's a good idea to align them horizontally, with the vector art below and a good amount of space between the two (the resulting vector art will be created between the two).
5. click the raster script you wish to use.
6. click the play button.
