Every time I try an script that requires some heavy calculation Illustrator just freezes. When I look at the performance it seems like nothing is being calculated at all. After a while Illustrator just stops responding. Anyone else have this problem.

I have a Dual core with 2gigs of memory. Is it because illustrator fails to use my physical memory?
