Hi,
this whole day i googled ways to read and write to the parallelport. no success :(
I just want to set data bits and read the ACK and BUSY lines, rxtx is way to highlevel and complex for my application.
Any suggestions oder code examples?

I'm using sg 2.9 and Illustrator CS4 on win XP.

read() and write() from this example are exactly what I'm looking for:
