So, I've had versions in the past work and then after updating, some scripts don't work.

I just downloaded the newest 2.0.23 for my WinXP, CS2 v 12.01 Illustrator _AND_ downloaded the latest Sun JRE 1.6, r1. Very few of the included scripts worked, let alone Gardener or the cool looking Cube and Cylinder scripts.

I looked at my Java directory on my home machine and noticed I had three versions in there 1.x, 1.x, 1.5. At work I had 1.x, 1.50_6 and the 1.6r1. I removed 1.6r1 through the Add/Remove Programs in my control panels and relaunched with, still, the 2.0.23. Still console errors on scripts like Growth and no Gardener etc...

I copied over the entire Scriptographer directory from my home machine, version in "About Scriptographer..." dialog say Scriptographer 2.0 (but no 'sub' versions like 2.1, etc...).

Gardener now works....but still other errors.

I "think" that getting some of the scripts to work depends on the JRE you have installed (c:\programs\java to check) _with_ the Scriptographer version _with_ the version of the script you are using.

It is a trial and error process, but for Gardener to work, worth the effort...
